Program Overview Our two-year program consists of six consecutive semesters. Clinical practicums and research projects round out the curriculum and ground your education in experience.

For more information regarding our curriculum, please visit our webpage.

First Year During the first year, classes introduce students to the foundations of sports medicine, including injury prevention and rehabilitation. Research and clinical practicums begin in the second semester and challenge students to expand their study.

Second Year Clinical practicums take on a larger role in the second year, culminating in an immersive experience in the final semester. Research supplements advanced coursework and trains students in data collection and analysis.

The Pacific University MSAT Program has given me the opportunity to grow not only as a health care provider, but also an individual. With a vast array of clinical experiences and great faculty, I am confident that I am prepared to more than succeed after graduation. I am proud to be a part of the MSAT Program at Pacific University.
— Colin Moran, MSAT class of 2020

Our program is committed to supporting professional growth and learning and enabling students to be competitive candidates when seeking employment.  Our students will have the opportunity to obtain certifications beyond what is offered in the curriculum.
