In-depth Experience The primary goal of the Pacific University Athletic Training Program is to graduate well-rounded and highly competent clinicians ready to assume duties in any of the standard areas of athletic training practice. Clinical education plays an important role in this education and comprises approximately 40% of a student's time in the athletic training program.
Students can complete clinical educational experiences in a variety of settings including high school, collegiate, professional, EMS, and orthopedic and general medical offices. The program presently has clinical affiliates in Hawaii, Washington and Oregon. As the program implements a capstone experience that will be immersive, student could travel anywhere as they pursue their career goals whether in performing arts, military, industrial, professional sports, high school or collegiate settings.
